Finally blogging from my ROOM!!

ok ppl..... since the school just changed ISP .... so far i can get into my blog for now... haha... kk.... juz went to play golf with some old friends this morning.... only went to the driving range though..... we wanted to see how we were hitting the ball b4 we decided if we wanted to play on the course...... YUP YUP i know its a friday..... but i got no uni on fri thanks to my great timetable planning...... and most of my afternoons are free!!!!!... ok o k... so at the driving range, i was doing ok..... still managed to hit my 7 iron about 130m...... the worst thing is that with the 5 iron and the driver, i was only hitting it abt the 150m range which is totally crap........ worst still..... i kept slicing the ball really badly with the driver.... like it travels 130m straight... and another 100m to the right...... the longest i hit today was my 5 wood...... which averaged abt near 200m.. which is good enough for me ....
the 4 of us wanted to fit in 9 holes after lunch.... but thanks to the crappy winter weather, it started raining..... so we posponed it to next wed or fri........ hope can get to play more often!!!! on the way out.... dropped by the golf box store..... wanted to get a golf glove as i forgot to bring mine..... found this pair of white NIKE gloves for just $5!!!!! no thinking needed.... just whip out the wallet and straight for the cashier!!!!! WHAHA!!!!!!

well peeps.... i won't be able to blog so often anymore cause the damn school that i LIVE in ..... the stupid server bans access to all blogs, myspace, friendster and some other sites also.... at least there's msn so i'm not fretting yet...... haha...... but i will try to update whenever i can..... c u ppl soon....

last meal.

ok........... back to the past.... so on tues 10 july.... met up with the girls and chong for one last lunch at Cafe Brio's. The food wasn't too bad .. it was all ASEAN food... so our "british boy" was very happy with the lack of pasta and stew...... at the same time we celebrated XW's birthday........

the girls were sweet enough to give me a farewell present which were a buch of post cards tied together ... there were pics of us fooling ard since we met.. ........ THANKS LADIES!!!!

and yes... after lunch i went for my ippt...... so asking for trouble... hahaha

JB trip

ok .. so i finally got out of the country...... the sunday before i fly..... 8july...... went over to JB with the branch people... the trip was organised by UBI sece ( senior citizen ___ ___) which meant that almost everyone was at leasts 30 years older than me.... only allison and some kids were younger than me...... allison came along cause she got her F.A from my DAD.... ok more like i paid her but dad paid me back eventually..... so yea.... 645at eunos mrt..... reached JB .. had brekkie at some vege restaurant opened by Xie shao guang..... all the aunites were crazy la.... all taking photos with his and stuff.... summore he was so unglam... T-shirt and slippers... with a red apron... yup yup... he supposedly cooks the food...... ok .. so after that we went to some animal shelter... something like our SPCA..... but the highlight...... was the DURIAN!!!!.. cause the shelter was in some ulu jungle area.... there were durian trees all over.... and the people there collected them for us b4 we came...... the durian was good.... kinda lost count of how many I ate by the 2nd seed..!!! after that was some temple..... then was lunch...... we were all stuffed to the brains with durian while sitting at the lunch table.... like tasted a little of each from each dish....... ok ... so after that it was to JUSCO... this shopping centre..... even tho there was sale.. the prices were still quite ex.. even compared to SG........ ok .. so after that.. like 3 hrs after lunch.. .we were on our way to dinner!!!! my god.. whole day of eating!!!! there was a wedding dinner going on as well.. we were trying to figure out how old the bride and groom were cause they looked REALLY young..... like even i looked older than them........after that we headed back to SG

ok.... suppose to do this before i left.... but..... haha....

ok... so MPS ( Meet the People Session).. every tuesday at enuos blk 11 PAP branch..... so .... go there... help out writing letters and stuff for people who see the MP and/or require anysort of assistants.... we forward the letters to the relavent authorities signed by the MP in out case Dr Ong ...... usually the letter writing are done by students "attached" from their JC's for the exposure... others (like me) are volunteers.... I happen also to be a PAP YP(young PAP) member..... so i am active with the party stuff also......

i am alive.... survived the flight....... at my friend place now... will be moving into my room at Christ Church at 6pm.... one thing i must say... I hate Singapore weather!!!!! down here... LOW HUMIDITY!!!! and its not too cold now.... feels like a cold air con room.... :-)..... oh... and the accent is sort of back..... the "auto-roaming " quite instant ... hahah..... but only with people that have the accent then it comes out....... juz got my OPTUS SIM card.... kinds sad i could not retain my old number...... waiting for the online reply from the registration..... will get a sms giving my number in it.. hope its a nice one... easy to remember... the mobile(handphone) numbers here quite long... 10 numbers..... the land lines are like out HP numbers in singapore......

crap its not even 6pm yet and the sky is already quite dark..... however... winter should end soon.....

BRO!!! juz looking at the grass here.... my legs super itchy to play ball man..... really "pitch" lor... not the cow like crap we get in SG..... can put my boots to its full potential liao.... haha....

well.. should be meeting up with some old classmates tmr... b4 O-day on monday...... really want to get a car here..... hahah.... i miss my car already.... speaking abt missing.....

i know its only been like a day, but juz knowing that i'm 4000+km away from everyone in SG ...... REALLY MISS U ALL LIAO!!!!! thanks for all the last minute phone calls and sms ..... all the loves and take cares.....

bloody SAF

just when u thought all the crap the country and SAF can give you were during your NS days..... "BANG" shit hits the fan and u get hit left right and centre by it all ..... was trying to apply for my Exit Permit today.... and guess wad.... i have to clear my BLOODY IPPT before they approve it...... Being an EX-MP and all .. i know wat the consequences are for not doing it...... so i "lan lan" have to take the damn test.....
so i tot i'd hit the gym at like 5pm to see how my "condition" was..... hav not ran in like 9 months since the surgery, only done the odd crunches and push-ups when i can remember and bother to do it.......
ok ... so in the gym... tried to simulate the test stations..... all went sort of well....... could feel the stiffness and complete weakness in the muscles........ ok ... so it was to the 2.4 km run .. on the treadmill...... i tot i should at least tried to run it at my usual pace and see how long i could last...... turns out, i "DIED" at like that half way mark... totally short of breath.... well... so in light of the poor RJC triathalon guy..... i decided to stop...... 1.2km in almost 6 mins la..... and worst still i didn't even finish the damn run....
so i tried to catch my breath and started stretching..... then everything went white...... head went very light..... felt like fainting and puking at the same time...... the last time i felt like this was when i was in army and we ran the 4.8km route twice in like under 40 mins. ok .. so i was flat on my back on the floor of the gym.... luckily i was alone... so shameful la...... in my army running gear... and than like a dying pig on the floor sleeping..... tried like over 5 times to get up... everytime juz went straight back down cause my legs were all jelly and i was kinda dizzy.....
I think i spent about a good 10 to 15 mins on the floor.......

finally managed to get up to the house... then went to the shower... ended up lying on the floor for another 5 plus mins on the toilet...... after showering... went straight to bed to take a nap.... didn't want to puke cause i had some really good DURIAN just after lunch....... :-P... hahaha.....
mum said that my face was really pale .......

even now .. i can feel my body burning ... and thats like 5 hours ago....... oh wells.... the test is on tuesday at SAFRA tampinese at 4:30pm...... sorry to my dear ladies and bro for postponing the lunch to wed.... but u can be damn sure i'll be eating ALOT!!!!!!!

going to JB for a DURIAN eating spree on Sunday with the MPS and CC ppl...... dad's not going .. so SEOW jr has to represent and follow the MP ...... hopefully got a few pretty ladies on the trip... if not i'll be stuck with all the senior citizens ............ ahahahaha..

LAST BUT NOT LEAST.... TO MY DEAR LITTLE SISTA ... MISS KOH XW Aka BLossoms... HAPPY 20th my DEAR!!!!!! you are now 1 year closer to your dream of becoming a TAI TAI... hahahaha......

ok ok ... so after paintball.... we headed back to siglap for lunch and XIN WANG...... it was sort of lunch... reached there at about 3.30 ..... sat ard till like 5 plus..... jo left early.... so like the gentleman that i am.... gave XW a ride home...



Drove around like idoits with chong-u for a while..... around 7 we went to bedok central to meet up my Jayne and the last minute add on... leonard...... :-P..



went over to Lagoon at east coast for dinner..... chong .. jayne and I shared a BBQ stingray and some veg... leo went for his customary friend hokkien mee.....

after dinner... dropped leo and then jayne home... and as if we hadn't had enough to eat, Bro and I met up with his imperial college friends for supper at coffee club.... so for the 3rd time of the day, I parked at the siglap car park..... we spent quite a while there..... had quite alot of fun.. laughed alot..... dropped bro home....

on the way home... i went to re-fuel the car and to the car wash.... fell asleep in the car while it was being washed la..... so much for all that coffee.....

last 2 weeks in a flash

haven't blog for 2 weeks...... so here the last 14 days in a nutshell.

FINALLY went paintballing at discovery centre on the 27th.... my partner in crime CHONG-U braved jet-lag to join us . The game was average... could have been alot better had my teams weapon not IA every time we wanted to shoot. the other team got lucky..... Chong and I would have shot them to kingdom come if not for the crappy weapons.

ok ..... So we played about 5 rounds with 3 different senarios. First was to shoot the balloon... we had to shoot the opposing team's balloon located at their base without crossing into their "territory". Chong and I were right infront of the balloon..... and guess wat.... we were both just shooting CO2 gas out of the BLOODY barrell...... my pallets just dropped to the floor through the extration chamber..... by the time i ractified the problem, i only managed to fire off at some of the "enemies"...... we lost both of the balloon rounds thanks to crappy weaponry... our other 2 teamates Jo and XW were doing pretty well ... slowing down the other teams advancement and somtimes unwillingly and unknowingly played bait for Chong and me.... haha..... But YES THE BLOODY WEAPON JAMMED AGAIN... and AGAIN and bloody hell AGAIN!!!!!...

next up was capture the flag....... first round .... ALL our weapons JAMMED!!!! in the second..... we just decided to run for the flag... after all.... for the last 3 rounds...... we didn;t even get shot at all... chong and xw ran for the flag while jo and I sort of returned fire....... I was pretty sure i shot a few of them a couple of times..... but hell.. they juz carried on shooting back.... damn game controllers useless la!!!!! I don't think anyone say me doing a little jig while dodging the pallets.... :-P...
final round..... ELIMINATION..... after all the weapon failures and crap... Chong and I still had 2 full mags each..... being the last round, we decided to go out "ALL GUNS BLAZING" ..... flicked the weapon to AUTO..... as far a we cared ... if nothing came out of the damn weapon..... those pre- NS guys and poly girls would still hear the sound..... i emptied my mag.... shot a few that didnt even know they got shot..... WE both ran out of rounds.... and still kept going on AUTO...... JO and XW did the rest..... Jo shot a pretty little girl in the back of the head..... XW .... dunno wat she was doing la... never shoot at anyone .... and still ran out of rounds....

WE eventually lost cause we ran out of rounds first..... or so we thought....... Appearently.... and no one else knows this ... haha.... the other team was firing GAS also...... I was pretty damn sure... cause there was no MAG IN THE WEAPON ......

so ok..... fine i'm calling it a draw........

one thing i learned about paintballing...... the standard crap that they thought us in bmt and army..... Its useless....... Good thing i learn some urban stuff during my MP days..... Still fretting about the bloody weapons...... doubt i'd go back there again...... see how ...... hopefully they get their shit together .....

was reading the newspaper and came across the horoscopes.

i've been reading the horoscopes in the papers for sometime now...... almost everyone of them could relate to whats going on now... but this one.... looking at it in a deeper sense, how much more accurate can it get ..... it kinda relates to almost everything thats been going on the last few months .... i suppose it can relate to just about anything.... work, play, uni, girls,...

think its about time i re-evaluate myself .....

fathers' day

didn't do much on sunday.... sort of lazed around at home....... went for dinner at WILD ROCKET.... its a little restaurant at mount emily..... the food was quite average..... the service was CRAP! the damn manager actually asked us if we'd like to settle the bill right after our dessert cause he wanted to turnover the table..... WAT A RETARD!!!! as known the service industry here really needs ALOT of improvements..... which is why u hardly see a local incharge at the high end restaurants and hotels.... cause we just aren't good enough... one may have a damn good chef .... but if ur manager thinks like a hawker centre auntie..... u are still crap.... i dare say even i could do a much better job than that retard... worst still .. i later found out that he wanted the tables cause he had a big group of his own relatives coming ...... like how stupid can he be... he could have just asked us if we wanted anything else after our dessert rather than telling us he needed to table to turnover.... so unprofessional.... dad and i gave him a good mouth full anyway..... but yea... wouldn really go back there ....... food wasn't fantastic anyway.......

fri 15

went to the taylor for my suit fitting...... all went well.... looks good..... not exactly armani or zegna but its serves it purpose. Its alot cheaper than buying one off the counter that dosen't fit too!! will put some picks when i pick it up on the 22nd.

went over to taka to meet XW at her so called "work place" ended up roaming ard TAKA, paragon and heeren. found the new all blacks jersey which costs too much..... went over to canterbury to look for my shoulder support which also costs too much...... wanted to join the queue at LV for the fun of it when XW called asking to save her from boredom.. hahaha

jo and anli joined us for dinner.... walked ALL the way to wheelock place..... ate at BIG O... the food was okay. nothing special.... :P... after that .. walked about 10 steps over to NYDC for dessert.. we kinda started abit of planning .. mainly about the paintball..... had to be abit of a regulator getting everyone "back to the point". Anli and her "scary" hall pranks.

we spent quite a while there.... juz chatting and drinking water ... after the dessert was finished... someone was complaining throughout that we didn;t eat enough to tickle her stomache...

yea... we were planning to go to the zoo also to meet up with some of anli's distant relatives... so she says..... i think this one was her twin.......

there can only be one thing (person) she's thinking about...... she just can't wait for him ... haha....

AFTER NYDC.... we headed to the car to go home...... guess wat... we didn't go home.... ended up in GEYLANG!!! for the record we went for supper..... nothing more... wanted to have durian... but parking was a B****...... had "TAu hueh" and like everything else..... and that someone wasn't full enough.... she even bought home a packet of soy bean drink "for later"....

Still not ready to go home, we ended up walking the back streets of geylang .. haha ..... ya... 1 guy with 3 girls roaming inner geylang... NO fear man!...... lol.. i think i was the girls first time .... judging by the way they were giggling and stuff pretty loudly... haha..... they didn't notice all the old men giving them the look... haha....
