2 weeks of it until I RETURN!

BOXING

meant to have posted this last tuesday.......
went boxing with JY on tues night at northbridge..... this is serious boxing ... like the mohammed ali / mike tyson type of boxing.... not the girly aerobic type ......
it was a 2 hr session..... first hr was mainly fitness and endurance..... so all the skipping ropes.. weights... push ups..... circuits..... some fundamental footwork and handwork...... 2nd hr was more technical..... jabbing .... hook.... blocking.... how to slip in and out.... how to watch for a punch... when to go in .... overall... was really fun..... painful... but fun..... its been over a week now.. and my thumb joint still hurts.... hopefully its not a bone..... after that session.. my body was aching for the next 5 days!!!!!
while at the place ( looked like some garage with cages and a ring) ...... looked and round.... and what do u know.... i was like the skinniest person there.... my arms were like chopsticks compared to the rest...... even JY was far more buffed than me..... there was this lady.... HER ARMS WERE BIGGER THAN MINE!!!!!! so embarassing ...... hahaha.....

well.. doubt i'd do it very often.... but the skills and exercises i learned would be very useful.... other than the stuff i learned in MP .... can sort of box now too!! haha.....
its good for the fitness ........ definately recommend to ppl who want to keep fit and toned.......;-)

alright... next topic.... EXAMS ARE IN 3 WEEKS!!!! ARGH!!!!!! finallly its my turn to start mugging....... i feel like i'm behind in all my units....... crap..... my goal for the next 3 weeks..... at least 4 hrs of study outside of tutes and lecs... a day.......

and now..... the news i'm sure all of u have been waiting for......

!!! the prodical one will be returning on the 25 nov!!!!

yes.... i've booked my flight back HOME on the 25 nov.... its a 5pm flight... so should be arriving at 10pm ...?!?!?!!? its like a month and a half away..... damn.... 1 semester gone so fast...
should find some work when i get back.... on the other hand... maybe i should start trading again...... hahah.... $$$$$$$$$ $-)

YAY!!! CAR!!!

yup yup.. i got my car...... !!! its a silver hyundai elantra.. i think its called the avante in singapore..... well... im calling it a BMW 2 series.. cause its got similar curves to a bmw .. and the size is in between the 1 and 3 series... haha..... already drove to uni this morning......
yup yup.. now i can go to the library more often and stay longer!!! ( so i tell myself)

yes yes .. i'm going to get a car here in perth..... "going" to....... its mid sem break now...... or more like just a 1 week non-teaching break with crap loads of work and assignments and tests to study for....... ok .. back to the car..... my dreams of a bmw 3 series have finally shattered......
to its down to a $20k car at best.... if i'm lucky.. i might get a vw or a ford focus......... its damn irritatting having to travel around looking at cars........ public transport here is SO ex and SO inconvenient....... the amount i spend on it ..... can top up 1 full tank of petrol at least.......

hopefully i can get the car asap...... really really really need it....... really.....

long weekend

its the long weekend at christ church.... hols from thurs to mon..... good for me too!!! i have the whole boarding house to myself..... can get down to some study especially with the mid sem exams coming soon ..... managed to get my Law assignment done yesterday.... just in time to watch the FOOTY!!! wat a game.....the EAGLES came back from 22 points behind to win by 8.
YAY!!! finally got the green light from dad to look for a car.... will start searching the dealerships right after the mid sems.
Its also about time to start booking my return flight too!!!... looking to fly on the 25 of nov.... so hopefully i'll be able to get back then.....
i know i just said that having the place empty is good for me to study... but i am feeling REALLY bored and lonely now..... so much for an improvement in my social life... haha..
ok.. should go back to watching the footy game now.. last quarter..... after that.. i'll try and force myself to go for a run .......

ok ok ... not to let my audience get P***ED off with me not updating them with my life here. I shall be a good "boy" and listen to my orders.....

SO ... its the 5week of uni... 2 more then its the midsem break for a WEEK!..... got a macroecons exam on the last day b4 the hols... and a financial accounting exam the week returning from hols..... 1st day of hols.... yours truely has been enrolled into a golf competition..... its some church thing that my friend invited me to join...... I'm so going to get trashed by the little kids and the old ppl ...... they and their bloody 40 + handicaps...... throw the ball also can liao...... well.. i dun have my handicap so i've given a 27.. the max for male adults ... ALL i care is that i dun embarrass myself on the first tee when everyone is watching.... Oh! and i have a LAW assignment due next week.... kinda interested in law..... can put my BS skills to good use..... and theres an accounting assignment due in OCT .. but its SO MUCH BALARDY WORK that i have to start now......

enough of uni crap..... I MISS MY CAR!!!! I WANT A CAR!!!!! and YES!! the AUD IS DROPPING!!! hope it goes back to the "glory days" then can go on shopping spree!!!!!!...

I really want to go back during my mid sem break....... 7 to 16 sept..... 10 days!!!! summore now got budget flights..... a friend of mine is going back during then..... cause his girlfriend is bugging him to go back........ unlike me where no one can be bothered with me........

really starting to get abit bored here...... back home .. nothing to do..... all there is ... sport... run .... study...... mix ard with the boys in the boarding house.... hardly even have a chance to make new friends in uni...... just go to lecs.... copy the stuff from the screen.... then everyone runs out of the lec...... tutes.... all so quiet.... then all run out of the room..... lunch... all go back to their colleges for lunch..... then poor me here eating with the old "Gang" or alone.

anyways..... really thinking about playing soccer for a club...... but first ... need to get fit again..... went to watch a friend's (chester's) debut for his premier league team..... just being there.. i really wanted to play...... might join next season cause theres only 5 games left...... see how fit i can get in the next few months..... and i'm going to need a car to get to trainings and matches also... ;-)

oh! ... and i'm also eyeing a set of golf clubs....... taylormade rac os2 irons.... anyone with lobang please let me know!!!!!! brand new or second hand!!!!!

1 MONTH!

time really has flown by REALLY quickly...... its been 4 weeks that i've been back in perth...... Never really realised it until today..... cause its NDP.... haha... finally ..... a NDP that i have nothing to do with!!!!! army feels like SO LONG AGO ... lol.... poor boys of mine... still in there doing their thing...... will try and catch abit of the parade from the net one day hopefully..... see how they go....
ok back to the point... yea..... 4 weeks...... 3 of which have been uni...... so far..... uni is.. "ok la".... pretty much what i expected....... going over stuff learned in Year 12 but i still feel like i never learned them b4 ...... been playing quite a bit of golf...... the interest is still there... just need to work on the swing ... which means.. play MORE!!!.... i really need to get my own set of clubs... "hints at parents" (ally.. if u are reading this.... haha.... ) golf is fun!!!! too bad SG dosent have the weather for it...... u dun even need to get to the course ... just by carrying ur clubs to the car... u're all sweaty...... and its SO EX!!!!!! down here... 15 bucks for a game..... thats cheaper than buying the gloves la!!!!!
Life here has been pretty ok ... so far...... made a few new friends considering the limited opportunities i've had....... met up with tons of CCGS old- boys... should really start to get to know more people..... but everyone is so "in the own gang" ..... all the college ppl are together.... the old school mates are in another gang..... hmm..... tutes are soon starting.... shall see how things go there.....
OH.... theres the Gwen stefani , linkin park and justin timberlake concerts comin up..... all like 100 bucks a tic..... kinda wierd going to watch gwen with a group of guys... so i might not go ..... linkin park.... hmmm maybe..... would love to go to JT's but ... its in the middle of BLOODY EXAMS!!!!!! its on a friday night though... so maybe.... can use to destress....... see who i can drag along la......

Finally blogging from my ROOM!!

ok ppl..... since the school just changed ISP .... so far i can get into my blog for now... haha... kk.... juz went to play golf with some old friends this morning.... only went to the driving range though..... we wanted to see how we were hitting the ball b4 we decided if we wanted to play on the course...... YUP YUP i know its a friday..... but i got no uni on fri thanks to my great timetable planning...... and most of my afternoons are free!!!!!... ok o k... so at the driving range, i was doing ok..... still managed to hit my 7 iron about 130m...... the worst thing is that with the 5 iron and the driver, i was only hitting it abt the 150m range which is totally crap........ worst still..... i kept slicing the ball really badly with the driver.... like it travels 130m straight... and another 100m to the right...... the longest i hit today was my 5 wood...... which averaged abt near 200m.. which is good enough for me ....
the 4 of us wanted to fit in 9 holes after lunch.... but thanks to the crappy winter weather, it started raining..... so we posponed it to next wed or fri........ hope can get to play more often!!!! on the way out.... dropped by the golf box store..... wanted to get a golf glove as i forgot to bring mine..... found this pair of white NIKE gloves for just $5!!!!! no thinking needed.... just whip out the wallet and straight for the cashier!!!!! WHAHA!!!!!!

well peeps.... i won't be able to blog so often anymore cause the damn school that i LIVE in ..... the stupid server bans access to all blogs, myspace, friendster and some other sites also.... at least there's msn so i'm not fretting yet...... haha...... but i will try to update whenever i can..... c u ppl soon....

last meal.

ok........... back to the past.... so on tues 10 july.... met up with the girls and chong for one last lunch at Cafe Brio's. The food wasn't too bad .. it was all ASEAN food... so our "british boy" was very happy with the lack of pasta and stew...... at the same time we celebrated XW's birthday........

the girls were sweet enough to give me a farewell present which were a buch of post cards tied together ... there were pics of us fooling ard since we met.. ........ THANKS LADIES!!!!

and yes... after lunch i went for my ippt...... so asking for trouble... hahaha

JB trip

ok .. so i finally got out of the country...... the sunday before i fly..... 8july...... went over to JB with the branch people... the trip was organised by UBI sece ( senior citizen ___ ___) which meant that almost everyone was at leasts 30 years older than me.... only allison and some kids were younger than me...... allison came along cause she got her F.A from my DAD.... ok more like i paid her but dad paid me back eventually..... so yea.... 645at eunos mrt..... reached JB .. had brekkie at some vege restaurant opened by Xie shao guang..... all the aunites were crazy la.... all taking photos with his and stuff.... summore he was so unglam... T-shirt and slippers... with a red apron... yup yup... he supposedly cooks the food...... ok .. so after that we went to some animal shelter... something like our SPCA..... but the highlight...... was the DURIAN!!!!.. cause the shelter was in some ulu jungle area.... there were durian trees all over.... and the people there collected them for us b4 we came...... the durian was good.... kinda lost count of how many I ate by the 2nd seed..!!! after that was some temple..... then was lunch...... we were all stuffed to the brains with durian while sitting at the lunch table.... like tasted a little of each from each dish....... ok ... so after that it was to JUSCO... this shopping centre..... even tho there was sale.. the prices were still quite ex.. even compared to SG........ ok .. so after that.. like 3 hrs after lunch.. .we were on our way to dinner!!!! my god.. whole day of eating!!!! there was a wedding dinner going on as well.. we were trying to figure out how old the bride and groom were cause they looked REALLY young..... like even i looked older than them........after that we headed back to SG

ok.... suppose to do this before i left.... but..... haha....

ok... so MPS ( Meet the People Session).. every tuesday at enuos blk 11 PAP branch..... so .... go there... help out writing letters and stuff for people who see the MP and/or require anysort of assistants.... we forward the letters to the relavent authorities signed by the MP in out case Dr Ong ...... usually the letter writing are done by students "attached" from their JC's for the exposure... others (like me) are volunteers.... I happen also to be a PAP YP(young PAP) member..... so i am active with the party stuff also......

i am alive.... survived the flight....... at my friend place now... will be moving into my room at Christ Church at 6pm.... one thing i must say... I hate Singapore weather!!!!! down here... LOW HUMIDITY!!!! and its not too cold now.... feels like a cold air con room.... :-)..... oh... and the accent is sort of back..... the "auto-roaming " quite instant ... hahah..... but only with people that have the accent then it comes out....... juz got my OPTUS SIM card.... kinds sad i could not retain my old number...... waiting for the online reply from the registration..... will get a sms giving my number in it.. hope its a nice one... easy to remember... the mobile(handphone) numbers here quite long... 10 numbers..... the land lines are like out HP numbers in singapore......

crap its not even 6pm yet and the sky is already quite dark..... however... winter should end soon.....

BRO!!! juz looking at the grass here.... my legs super itchy to play ball man..... really "pitch" lor... not the cow like crap we get in SG..... can put my boots to its full potential liao.... haha....

well.. should be meeting up with some old classmates tmr... b4 O-day on monday...... really want to get a car here..... hahah.... i miss my car already.... speaking abt missing.....

i know its only been like a day, but juz knowing that i'm 4000+km away from everyone in SG ...... REALLY MISS U ALL LIAO!!!!! thanks for all the last minute phone calls and sms ..... all the loves and take cares.....
